The Middle East is a region where automobile is king and fuel is low-cost, often leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of moving around.

But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have actually risen the rate of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.

In a region that has among the highest carbon footprints on the planet, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to find alternatives to oil. It's established the first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, currently their client-list includes McDonald's.
